Its that time of year again when you notice the birds singing and starting their dancing. I have the Jackdaws and Blackbirds singing and teasing the cats!
Its not surprise that Feb 1st is celebrated by many cultures. We have Candlemas, Imbolc, On of the Queen of the Four Fire festivals that celebrate Briget , Chinese New Year,

It is the time to re-emerge from the withdrawal of winter and welcome the coming season. It is a time to shed the old and detox to renew the mind body and soul. Birthing a new you!
This year we are the Wood Snake in Chinese Astrology. Snakes, Swans, bulbs, fires (candles for the ones without a fireplace!) and hearts are symbols for this season.
The snake as a focus this year gives us a chance to use its ability to help us transform and challenge us. We are able to use the energy to be reborn and shed our own old worn skin or habits, and ruts to grow into our new one with the wisdom that we have gained.
It is a 9 year in numerology and this means a completion letting us know that we are now to prepare for the next stage whatever that is. Perfect for a snake year!
Don't forget that snakes are also called serpents and this links them with dragons and that will take us down another rabbit or worm hole!
Imbolc blessings!
